Garlic

Garlic kills bacteria and germs. It has anti-microbial properties. The hair growth inhibiting is due to the germs and bacteria that damage the scalp.  

 

Benefit: Raw garlic has vitamin C in rich amounts and it promotes hair-health. It boosts the production of collagen and assists stimulating hair growth.

 

How to make and apply

  • Take garlic 8 cloves. Crush 1 onion medium-sized(optional) and garlic in a blender and get the pulp.
  • Add the pulp to ½ cup olive, castor, or coconut oil. Heat it to turn brown. Allow it to cool, strain and discard the pulp.
  • Massage your scalp for 15 minutes using two tablespoons of oil. Let it stay for 30 minutes.
  • Wash using a mild shampoo.

 

Onion

This is the most effective solution. Onion contains sulphur. The smell is strong, but goes off with a rinse.

 

Benefit: The sulphur in the onion juice promotes collagen production and hair re-growth.

 

How to make and apply

  • Cut a few pieces of onion. Squeeze the juice out of it or make a paste in a blender.
  • Squeeze the juice from the paste.
  • Apply the onion juice for 10-15 minutes on your scalp using a cotton ball.
  • Rinse off with water or use some mild shampoo.

 

Ginger

Ginger comes as essential oils or in the extract form. It can be as ginger juice or a ginger hair mask.

 

Benefit: Ginger promotes blood flow and promotes scalp circulation. It triggers hair follicles and boosts hair growth.

 

How to make and apply

  • Cut ginger fresh root and massage it onto your scalp directly.
  • Another way is to puree in a blender the root and to apply it to your hair.
  • Apply ginger extract to your scalp and rinse after 30 minutes.
  • If it a hair mask, use ginger juice with equal parts of essential oil. Massage your scalp, cover your hair with a cap and rinse after 30 minutes.

 

Mustard

Mustard seed is useful for increasing blood circulation. It encourages the growth of hair, when it is applied to the hair scalp.

 

Benefit: The mustard seed oil has protein that has omega 3 rich fatty acids. It keeps the hair long and strong.

 

How to make and apply

  • Take around 250ml mustard oil, heat it in a pan.
  • Add henna 10-15 leaves and allow it to boil.
  • Cool it and apply to scalp. Leave it for 25 minutes.
  • Thoroughly wash your hair and repeat once a week.

 

Cinnamon

Cinnamon cures hair problems such as hair fall, thinning, and dandruff, besides stimulating hair growth.

 

Benefit: It is natural and potent. Strengthens hair follicles, vanishes hair breakage, and reduces frizz.

 

How to make and apply

  • Take cinnamon powder mix with coconut oil. Heat it.
  • Once cool apply and stay for 30 minutes.
  • Rinse it.

Cinnamon hair mask is also beneficial. Add cinnamon powder, coconut oil, and honey 1 teaspoon. Warm it, stir and once cool apply it. Keep it for 2 hours and rinse it with a shampoo.
